Prenatal Massage training for Licensed Massage Therapists

Prenatal Massage - Instructor: Eileen Monaghan LMT

The goal for this class is to educate in proper positioning and draping of pregnant women. You will also be given extensive information on the physiological changes a woman goes through during pregnancy, benefits and contraindications, trimesters, labor and delivery, fertility, and Infant massage. You will finish this class feeling comfortable and confident in side-lying, semi-reclining, and working with pregnant women.

Materials needed for class: a set of sheets for class, pillows (3 if possible), pillowcases, oil/lotion.

Oncology Massage training for Licensed Massage Therapists

Oncology Massage - Instructor: Eileen Monaghan LMT

Price: $450

In this class, you will learn a basic understanding of Cancer, the treatments used and how you can safely work on people undergoing Cancer treatment. You will also learn about modifications for long and short term side effects, directional massage for use with clients at risk for lymphedema and protocols that can be taught to your clients who suffer from chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy. We will go over Reflexology techniques, acupressure points, breahwork, and types of pressure that can be safely used.
